BHALO MELA Street Fair

Bhalo Mela Street Fair 2024

Our first-ever street fair on June 30th featured concerts with Bangladeshi artists, 60+ vendors, and thousands of attendees despite rainy weather. A huge community success!

Heritage Day Celebration

Bangladesh Heritage Day

Hosted at Gracie Mansion on March 7th, featuring diverse cuisine from member restaurants and celebrating our culture with traditional dances.

Community Art Project

"Chasing Dreams" Mural

Beautiful mural by Zeehan Wazed and Amethyst Monet, featuring children running through mustard flowers towards Bangla alphabet letters, reflecting our cultural journey.

Business Workshop

MWBE Certification Workshop

Educational workshop helping local businesses understand MWBE certification process, with 20+ businesses attending and learning about government contracts and opportunities.

Bengali New Year

Pohela Boishakh Celebration

Celebrated Bengali New Year on April 13th with traditional performances, showcasing food and clothing from our member businesses.

Financial Education

Chase Business Banking Workshop

Partnered with Chase Bank to provide financial expertise to 17 businesses, covering loans, cash flow management, and optimized banking services.
